Where can I camp in an RV near Rochester for Letchworth or the Finger Lakes?
Letchworth State Park, the "Grand Canyon of the East", is roughly 40 miles south-south-west of Rochester and has about 270 tent and trailer sites, including 30 and 50 amp options. Plan around the camping season. Letchworth's 2026 campground season runs from 15 May to 12 October, and Watkins Glen's gorge trail closes for the season in late October and reopens in mid to late May.
