If you’re looking to hire a campervan this summer there are so many to choose from it can be a bit of a minefield. So many variations on style of camper, size and facilities, where do you start? To make things a little easier and to start you off with some ideas we’ve picked out a few excellent vans for you to take a look at and start you on the road to discovering your perfect holiday vehicle!
All of our campervan and motorhome companies are excellent, they take such care and attention of their vans, so it’s great we can highlight a few of them here to see if you like them too!
Things to think about when your looking to hire are, location – you’ll need to think where you’d like your holiday to begin. You could start near to your home and hire the van close by so you set off straight away and have the full journey in your holiday home. Other people choose to drive nearer to their end destination, so they for example, drive to Scotland in their own car/vehicle and then pick up the van en-route for the exploring to start then.
You will need to consider the size of the vehicle needed and will it have enough space for adults, children and any pets. Some people like a compact vehicle and are happy to spill out into the campsite, others prefer more space even if it’s just for themselves. The possibilities are endless so making these decisions are important to narrow your search.
Facilities vary massively too. Some vans are kitted out with the latest in technology, from sat nav’s and rear parking sensors to Satellite TV and sophisticated kitchen equipment, whilst others are much more basic for those that like a simpler camping holiday. The amount of kit will effect the price of the rental too, so if your on a tight budget then the simpler vehicle will be better for your pocket.
