• Gatineau Park — about 30 minutes, a half-day or full-day trip. Pink Lake and the Champlain Lookout are the two most popular short stops.
• Montebello and Parc Omega — about 80 km, 1–2 days. Parc Omega is a drive-through wildlife park with wolves, elk and bison visible from the vehicle.
• Algonquin Park — about 3 hours, 3–4 days. The Highway 60 corridor gives RV access to the park’s main lakes and trailheads.
• Montreal — about 2 hours, or continue to Prince Edward County wine country, 3.5 hours.

Wesley Clover Parks in Kanata is about 15 minutes from downtown, with more than 170 sites from full hookups to unserviced, and it generally opens in early May. Philippe Lake in Gatineau Park, across the river in Quebec, takes RVs up to 32 ft (9.8 m) with electricity and water at some sites, and runs from June. Its reservations open in late winter through the National Capital Commission.
