Where can I pick up an RV near London?
Owners list vehicles across London and southwestern Ontario. A 20–35 mile radius in the search shows the full choice.
How far is Pinery Provincial Park from London, Ontario?
Pinery is about 65 km north-west of London, roughly 45 minutes to an hour, just south of Grand Bend on Lake Huron. It has three campgrounds (Riverside, Dunes and Burley), with some pull-through sites for larger rigs. It is one of Ontario's busiest parks, so book as soon as the five-month window opens. See Ontario Parks: Pinery.
Where do I cross into the US from London, Ontario?
Highway 402 runs about 102 km from London to the Blue Water Bridge at Sarnia, which leads to Port Huron, Michigan. Windsor's bridges to Detroit are further along Highway 401, but avoid the Detroit–Windsor Tunnel in an RV: it has a 12 ft 8 in height limit and bans hazardous materials such as propane. Check your rental agreement allows US travel, as owners usually need to give written permission and confirm insurance cover. See CBSA wait times.
